Well it's been a busy couple of weeks, more than 15 bikes have been through for repairs and rebuilds. Above is a selection of photos of some of them.

Recently I've had quite a lot of bikes in for major drivetrain overhauls, so new gears, chains, cassettes, cables etc (*see photos). It's also important to remember that if your bike is 1 or more years old and you've never had any work done to it that you should definitely have a professional look over it even if it's just for a basic service as there is nothing worse than a bike that's not working properly. Fortunately the weather has been quite kind to us cyclists, with one of the mildest winters on record. As a result I partook in the Rapha festive 500 challenge, to cycle 500km between Xmas eve and
New Year's Eve, and successfully completed it along with my wife. It's amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it. 2016 is shaping up to be another good year with the Tour de Yorkshire rapidly approaching along with the many sportives that are happening up and down the country. Not to mention the start of the local road race league and time trails. So have a great 2016 everyone :-) |
