The nine intrepid cyclists plus Rachel, my wife, Phil and myself made it to the Eiffel Tower, after 5 days enjoyable riding through the picturesque countryside. There are still three places available for the September 12th to 17th trip, and we are already planning for 2018. Day one of our York 2 Paris ride saw a wet start in York, the riders were glad of our lunch stop at Etton, where we dried out and enjoyed a break before making our way to Hull and the ferry. Glad to be on board, a hot shower and a few beers were very welcome.  |
