With just a month away the Tour de Yorkshire things are looking up, we are so lucky to be given the chance to watch this marvellous spectacle come through our part of the world. Please get out your blue and yellow bunting, find some blue or yellow paint and get to work painting your old bike to stick out on the roadside in support of this brilliant event. With the tour kicking off in Beverley this year, what could be easier than making your way there to experience the thrill of the start, or maybe pick a quieter spot towards Market Weighton, or even take a picnic and head for the dales or North Yorkshire moors.

 Well March is finally here, although it's still a bit chilly out there, but on a more positive note the days are getting longer so now is the perfect time to fetch your bike out of storage and give it a thorough clean and check before going for a ride.
First up you're going to need to lube the chain, then check and inflate your tyres, and make sure the brakes work properly. If you are in any doubt please give me a call and I can arrange to fit a service in before you take to the road. Don't forget I cover Cottingham, Hull, Beverley, North Cave, South Cave, Elloughton and Brough plus a lot more villages in the East Riding.
