Over 300 miles cycled in just three days.
I really enjoyed every moment. Especially as we had no punctures. That said I did have to replace a couple of worn out bottom brackets on route. One was done at 6am in the morning!! Now it's time to get back to work. Done three bikes already today and collected another for a level 2 service. Roll on the next adventure :-)

![]() Just a reminder to everyone that as of tomorrow, Thursday 19th, I will be away from work as I'm taking part in a Lands End to John o'Groats charity cycle ride, you may have heard about it on today's Radio Humberside show with Andy Comfort. I will hopefully be back on Tuesday 24th June, albeit a little tired. I will have limited access to phone and email during the trip, so will respond to phone calls, messages and emails asap. Please support us by going to Castle Hill (www.charitychoice.co.uk/fundraiser/lejogextreme/my-events) or Downright Special (www.virginmoneygiving.com/lejogextreme). Thank you Another selection of bikes repaired, serviced and back on the road. The ridgeback came into the workshop for a new back wheel, tyre and all new cables. The Bianchi road bike required both wheels trueing. The merida had a new bottom bracket fitted, the python hybrid had a service, the Boardman had a service and some new tyres fitted and the lapierre road bike was set up for the customer. Just a small sample of some of the many bikes I've fixed, serviced and upgraded recently.
It's been awhile since my last post, and so I thought I'd best keep all informed of what I've been busy doing lately. The last month or so has been very busy indeed, all manner of bike have been serviced, stripped down and rebuilt, repaired and upgraded. I've been as far a field as Patrington, Warne and Market Weighton, and everywhere inbetween. The van sure has been racking up the miles of late. In other news keep an eye on your letter boxes as I've had 10,000 fliers delivered over the last week or so by Browns leaflet distribution. Included on the flier is a 10% off voucher for services, so why not take advantage of this and call us to book your bike in. On the weekend of the 25th May I provided mechanical support at the KIDs charity Sportive which set off from Total Fitness, Cottingham under dark clouds and heavy rain. The children taking part got soaked but all had smiles on their faces after completing the 5 mile route. The 20 and 50 mile cyclists set off during a very heavy rain shower, good job I had my gazebo up to keep me dry, with a steely determination that the weather wasn't going to stop them from raising money for the charity. By the time they had finished the sun was shining and they were all smiling, even though they were exhausted from the hilly route. |
Craig BoddiceI am the company founder and a very keen cyclist who has enjoyed cycling since the first day I sat on my first bike. What I love about cycling is the freedom and chance to go places under your own steam. Plus, it keeps you fit and helps to save money on fuel too! Archives
