This month has been very busy and exciting for Repair2Ride both locally with enjoying the Elite Circuit Race in Beverley and the Tour de France, many congratulations to Chris Froome and Team Sky.
The East Yorkshire Classic featured a large group of riders including Ed Clancy MBE and about ten teams of elite, first and second category entrants. The ladies race was exciting and had a very close finish, great to see more women taking part in the circuit races.
The mens classic was a lively event where a group of five riders broke away from the main field and even lapped them with about six laps to go. The lapped riders were brought in leaving the five leaders to battle out the main positions. Unusual to say the least!!!
On Saturday the Big G took place , with a new mini G event for the younger rider, ideal for anyone trying their first Sportive.
I am the company founder and a very keen cyclist who has enjoyed cycling since the first day I sat on my first bike. What I love about cycling is the freedom and chance to go places under your own steam. Plus, it keeps you fit and helps to save money on fuel too!
