A fabulous day out in the heart of the Wolds, more than 600 cyclists took part on a perfect riding day, still, sunny and bright perfect for a ride around the beautiful Wolds. Cyclists had come from Harrogate, Rotherham, Hemsworth and Scarborough to take part. Great to see the girls out in force with breeze groups from Barmby moor, Scarborough and Beverley to name a few, not forgetting the Sunday girls from Hull. Matthew from Torq was on hand with advice and his excellent Torq products to assist the cyclists in fueling up before the rides. Dan Haskins aged just 14 took part and made a great time on the Langdale loop. Challenge riders Jane, Mark and Jimmy set off at a cracking pace. The whole sportive had a festive air as riders basked in the sunshine with their pie and peas, and special beer brewed by Great Newsome brewery, which went down a treat after a tough ride. Well done to Phil Haskins and Adam Hardy and all their helpers who made it another successful event.

Craig BoddiceI am the company founder and a very keen cyclist who has enjoyed cycling since the first day I sat on my first bike. What I love about cycling is the freedom and chance to go places under your own steam. Plus, it keeps you fit and helps to save money on fuel too! Archives
