Well it's that time of year again, the kids go back to school, the nights begin to draw in, but no one seems to have told the weather that, 25c today!! It's been a great summer weather wise and encouraging to see so many cyclists out on the roads long may it continue. Lately, I have been mostly carrying out lots of services and replacing lots of worn out drivetrain components, like bottom brackets, chains and casettes as well as other essentials like brake pads. Various bikes have been repaired from full suspension mountain bikes, to carbon road bikes to touring road bikes. Also this month, the Hull Skyride event took place, in what is now it's third year in glorious sunshine. Around 5000 people attended. I also attended the British cycle speedway championships held this year in Coventry, to cheer on Repair2ride sponsored rider and defending champion, Andy Angell. Sadly, Andy had a gate exclusion which ruined an otherwise perfect days riding on a glorious sunny bank holiday Monday. Next up for Andy is the World Championships held in Australia.

Craig BoddiceI am the company founder and a very keen cyclist who has enjoyed cycling since the first day I sat on my first bike. What I love about cycling is the freedom and chance to go places under your own steam. Plus, it keeps you fit and helps to save money on fuel too! Archives
