Hi Everyone,
It was a great yesterday to see so many people on their bikes at Hull's first ever Sky Ride. Sadly some unmentionables had thrown drawing pins all over the course and we were inundated with people with punctures, so much so that we were giving out numbers to people waiting for new innertubes. We quickly raised the alarm with the police and sky ride organisers who set about catching the culprits. Eventually we learnt that the police had caught those people that they thought were responsible for the terrible act. Needless to say even the police bikes were punctured by the pins (see picture below). Despite this there was a really good vibe, with the weather lending a helping hand to proceedings, meaning everyone had a good day out on their bikes. Thanks go out to my lovely wife, my mum and dad, and the other people who kindly lent a hand changing the many innertubes, we couldn't have done it without you. I'm already looking forward to next years event. Hope to see you all there.

Craig BoddiceI am the company founder and a very keen cyclist who has enjoyed cycling since the first day I sat on my first bike. What I love about cycling is the freedom and chance to go places under your own steam. Plus, it keeps you fit and helps to save money on fuel too! Archives
